STI was founded by its parent company, P.T. Wiralanao, an integrated wood working industry conglomerate. P.T. Wiralanao owns a list of companies that regulates its own forestry, sawmill, molding and door manufacturing facilities. STI's manufacturing site occupies about 6 hectares of land (approximately 15 acres) and hires more than 500 employees.

STI specializes in prefinished and unfinished solid wooden door. For the past decade, STI has won four awards from ISA, International Saw and Timber Association, in export volume category. STI exports to various countries such as Netherlands, United Kingdom, Ireland, Scotland, Spain, Australia, United States and South Africa. And our products have achieved international recognition on quality and price competitiveness.

STI is an environmentally friendly company and operates within the laws and regulations of Indonesian government in promoting green forestry and does not support any kind of activities in illegal logging.

STI values its employees. All levels of employees receive free health and life insurance as well as pension funds. Trainings, housings, transportation are also provided for mid level staffs of the company.
